He has written and presented widely on association topics relating to strategic planning and association mergers.
Prior to consulting, Chris served as Chief of Staff in the Premier’s Office and the Office of the Official Opposition in Prince Edward Island from 2003-2011.
With the exception of his sabbatical in government, Chris has worked with and for associations his entire career. His first job was with a national industry association. In addition, close to thirty years ago, he was retained by the Government of Canada to conduct the first ever national study on the role and effectiveness of associations in Canada.
Chris attended Bishop’s University and McMaster University where he earned Bachelor’s and Masters’ degrees in political studies and public policy.
Chris is an avid mountain biker and when he’s not involved in the latest association restructuring project, he is likely trying to conquer the latest climb on his favorite trail. Chris also owns a boutique bike manufacturing company called Quest Carbon Cycles.
